Dannevirke artist Tania Morrison celebrates the sale of her watercolour painting, the first piece to sell after the Tararua District Lindauer Art Exhibition opened on Saturday. The annual Tararua District Art Exhibition has returned to celebrate and support the district's creative talent. Well over 100 paintings, photographs and sculptures from 59 local artists will be on display at the Woodville Race Course over the next week. As well as being a showcase for local artists, the exhibition is a fundraiser for an artist-in-residence programme. The exhibition will be open at the Woodville Race Course, from 10am to 4pm, until March 14.
