Woodside Carvers create angels for Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth

LACONIA — Over the past year, the Woodside Carvers have been carving wood angels as gifts for critically ill children at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth. To date, 68 have been sent to Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth and 32 to Payson Center for Cancer Care at Concord Hospital. This is now an ongoing project for the Woodside Carvers and the members are working on a new group of angels to help lift the spirits of children at CHaD. The Woodside Carvers, begun in 2007, is an informal group of Lakes Region men and women who enjoy carving. Richard Gosselin and Gary Brock are two who belong to the Woodside Carvers at the Taylor Community.
