Indeed, between January and June 2016, the teams of this company delivered 639,645 m3 of wood, equivalent to 464,199 m3 of logs and 17,446 m3 of lumber; against 623,928 m3 over the same period in 2015. All which, as the company highlights, led to SEPBC being awarded the ISO 9001 version 2008 certification in the port wood warehousing sector. With this acknowledgement from the world leader in compliance and certification audit, SEPBC announces the operationalisation, “in a few months, of the mooring berth, under construction in the terminal”. According to the company, this investment worth a total of FCfa 5 billion “will help in increasing the log delivery rates in the terminal, with the docking of full logging vessels” and consequently “confirm the good performances of the Douala Port lumberyard”.
