FeaturesHollywood actress Gal Gadot has expressed her support to two young Sri Lankan Cos Players after they were ridiculed and cyber-bullied for cosplaying Wonder Woman. Both Gadot, who played the character in the recent blockbuster movie, and its director Patty Jenkins tweeted support and encouragement. Amaya Suriyapperuma and Seshani Cooray chose to dress up as Wonder Woman at the Comic Con 2017 event in Colombo,little did they realise they would become the center of demeaning online memes. Amaya Suriyapperuma noted the following on her FB page :This cosplay garnered so much hate on Facebook and people retaliated with love and support and that's amazing! But the best part was, Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman herself said that my costume was "great, strong and beautiful" !!!
