khairie@bh.com.myTHE national women's goalball squad have made it clear they are not competing to just "make up the numbers" and are determined to contribute to Malaysia's haul at the Kuala Lumpur Asean Para Games next week. Despite having only been formed this year, the team's management are keen on at least winning a bronze medal on their debut in the regional event. Thailand swept both men's and women's gold at the Singapore Games in 2015. Player Siti Hajar Hassan has assured that the team will give it everything they have. Goalball is a team sport for the visually impaired.
