Current Asia Cup champions Bangladesh are expected to gave a difficult outing under lights against their powerful neighbours, who beat hosts and pre-tournament favourites Australia in their first Group A match. However, the Bangladesh side, who beat India in the Asia Cup final at Malaysia in 2018, got a boost ahead of the big occasion by beating Pakistan in the practice match. Bangladesh reached Australia three weeks ago for a conditioning camp and senior member Jahanara Alam was upbeat before the start. “We beat India twice in the Asia Cup, but those matches took place long ago. The match will start at 5:00 pm Bangladesh Standard Time and Star Sports will telecast it live.
