In honor of International Women’s Day, I decided to ask a cast of talented female leaders what challenges women face in the workplace and their potential solutions. Overall, women have extra challenges in the workplace, but things are especially difficult for working mothers. Women in the workforce may face a slew of challenges, but they’re managing to thrive in spite of them. Women own almost 11.3 million businesses in the U.S., and these companies collectively account for around $1.6 trillion in revenue. Women are working through challenges, but they shouldn’t have to.
