Firefighters rushed to the scene just after 6pm today and officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) attended a short time later. Greater Manchester Fire Service was called to initial reports of a person on fire. Crime scene investigation teams are also believed to be at the scene. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire Service said: "We were called at 6.01pm to a person on fire in an area of woodland off Williams Road in Moston. "Fire investigation, the North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police are all in attendance."
