Peel Region police say the woman suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the incident. They were called to the highrise building on Yorkland Blvd. Police are searching the area for a suspect. It’s the second shooting in Brampton since Saturday when a 28-year-old man was shot in a car in the area of Steeles Ave. E. and Torbram Rd. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition.
