Police have arrested a 28-year-old in Feilding and are appealing for witnesses to an alleged kidnapping. A woman has been seriously hurt during an alleged kidnapping in Palmerston North. She escaped the vehicle on Potaka St, in the Rangitīkei town, about 9.45am with serious injuries. The man is alleged to have fled the scene, but was arrested in Feilding about 5pm that day. Police are calling for witnesses who may have seen a brown 2004 four-door Kia Rio in the Pacific Drive area of Palmerston North on Wednesday morning.
