Emergency services were called to the scene at Hafren Forest when he collapsed and stopped breathing. ‌Before they arrived the man's partner had carried out CPR and used a defibrillator in the emergency situation at the isolated spot in Powys until help arrived. ‌On Friday, March 13 the Wales Air Ambulance was sent to the forest following reports of a 21-year-old man in distress. Online, Jamie Jerman, crew manager at Llanidloes Fire Station, revealed that the man's partner performed chest compressions until help arrived.
