A woman was raped at her home in Northwest Washington Friday night, according to police, after a man entered the house, blindfolded her and bound her hands. The attack occurred on the 2300 block of California Street NW, in one of the city’s most expensive neighborhoods, home to foreign embassies as well as the residences of former President Barack Obama and of President Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner. The Metropolitan Police Department asked for help from the public in locating a suspect in the first degree sexual abuse and burglary offense. It was not known how the man entered the house.
