Despite missing her family dearly, Tanya said: "At the end of the day I'm safe. I went to the meeting and it was a nice meeting, we had a big meeting about moving forward to open the wheel, and then ten days later my father rang me to say Australia is locking down. Since being in the UK, Tanya said she's "never spoke to her family more" and is grateful the pandemic meant they could share more conversations together. Her husband will also be meeting her there, in Cairns, after a long 15 months apart.
