Babu, who was unemployed and a chronic alcoholic. Angry with her husband, who would frequently harass her, she hatched a plan to get rid of him. She alerted Rakesh, who sneaked into the house and strangulated Babu with a towel before fleeing from the spot. But a detailed background check by the police about her relationship revealed the conspiracy, said a police source.
