MANILA, Philippines — A woman was hit by a stray bullet in the mouth while cooking at home in Ilocos Sur on Christmas Eve. Romulo Sapitula said 38-year-old Fely Joy Paras survived but lost five of her teeth from a .45 caliber bullet found in her mouth. A 75-year-old civilian was also arrested for indiscriminate firing in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. Albayalde said PNP chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa is committed to charging the policemen accused of indiscriminate firing. “There is no second chance for this, no mercy for those who will be caught engaging in indiscriminate firing,” Albayalde said.
