A woman killed her husband after he allegedly tried to rape her minor daughter in Bihar’s Katihar district on Sunday night, police said. Draupadi Devi(35) hacked her husband Sunil Rishi (40) with an axe when she saw him trying to molest their daughter. After killing her husband, the woman along with her children reached police station on Monday morning and confessed her crime to the police. “I was suspicious of Rishi’s behaviour earlier also because my daughter had complained about it,” said Devi. “I have committed the crime but it was my duty to protect my daughter from my husband’s grisly act,” she told reporters at the police station.
