Harris died at the scene after the car she was driving collided with a Nissan Navara at the intersection of Marshland and Mairehau Rds just before 7.30pm. Yesterday, police appealed to the public for information after the driver of the silver 2004 Nissan Navara fled the scene of the fatal crash before police arrived. Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw a Nissan Navara in the area around the time of the crash should phone police.
