KOTA MARUDU: A woman was killed while her brother was badly injured when their Perodua Myvi plunged into a two-metre drain at Km9 of Jalan Kota Marudu-Langkon here early this morning. Joseh Banglah, 31, who suffered severe head and chest injuries, was confirmed dead at the scene by district hospital medical officers. Both victims were sent to the Kota Marudu district hospital via ambulance. Joseh, who was driving the car from Kota Marudu, is believed to have lost control of her vehicle, causing it to swerve and nosedive into the drain. The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 4.03am and sent a team to the scene.
