SAN PEDRO CITY, Laguna, Philippines — A woman died while a man was injured in a road accident involving a truck and a sports utility vehicle in Lipa City in Batangas province, police said. ADVERTISEMENTNavarro was aboard a Mitsubishi Montero driven by Orestes Orense, who remained in a hospital for treatment. According to the Batangas police, the accident happened past midnight Saturday in Barangay Tambo. The SUV tried to overtake the trailer truck, driven by Arnel Alaban when the truck lost its control and veered off the highway. The truck crashed into a post and its trailer got detached, falling over the SUV.
