An unidentified man shot a woman right after she sold him a bottle of beer at her ‘sari-sari’ store in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, on Saturday night. Jocelyn Palacpac was declared dead on arrival at FEU-NRMF Medical Center, according to a report to the Quezon City Police District. The 45-year-old Palacpac was manning her store when the gunman arrived at 9 p.m. on Saturday and asked for a bottle of beer. During questioning, witnesses said the victim did not have any enemies or got into a fight with anyone recently, he said. “We’re reviewing security footage from the barangay but there were no closed circuit television cameras at the victim’s store [on Sto Niño Street],” Cejas added.
