A woman was fatally shot in Southeast Washington on Friday on a street that has been the scene of three homicides in a little more than a year. On Friday, Bernadette King, 49, was found in a house in the 2400 block of Elvans Road with a gunshot wound. In November, a 43-year-old man was found fatally shot in the parking lot of an apartment house on the same street.
