A woman in her 50s suffered minor injuries when a vehicle slammed into her Beacon Hill home Monday evening, pinning her underneath. Ottawa Fire Services said in a news release they were called to Ingram Crescent just before 8 p.m. The woman, who was in the family room, was trapped underneath the vehicle. Heavy rescue specialists from the fire department secured and lifted the vehicle to free the victim, who suffered minor injuries. A photo from the scene shows the front end of the black Audi SUV protruding from the window.
