Woman in serious condition after truck and car crashSUPPLIED A woman is in serious condition after being freed from the wreckage of a truck and car crash in Kumeu. A woman in her thirties is in serious condition after a major truck and car crash in Kumeu, northwest Auckland. St John Ambulance said the woman had to be freed from the wreckage of the crash and was being transported to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition. Police, ambulance and fire were all called out to the crash near the intersection of Waitakere Rd and Farrand Rd just before 3pm on Wednesday. A serious crash has closed a small section of Waitakere Rd in Kumeu.
