A woman in her 70s is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough on Saturday afternoon. Toronto police received a call around 11:30 p.m. that the woman was lying unconscious in the middle of the road near Kingston Rd. and Ridgemoor Ave.Police then assisted paramedics with an emergency run to transport the woman to hospital. There was only one vehicle involved in the incident, said Const. There is currently no information about road closures in the area.
