Mother of the 22 year old rape survivor filed a case against eight persons with Kapasia police station on Friday. Police, meanwhile, arrested seven of the accused while the prime accused, Sakhawat Hossain, 28, is on the run. Kapasia police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Aminul Islam said Sakhawat used to talk to the woman, wife of an expatriate, on mobile phone regularly. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) (Kaliganj circle) Farzana Yasmin said the rape survivor has been sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College and Hospital in Gazipur for medical tests.
