An Assam native, Munna, 28, who was living in the outhouse on rent with three other migrant workers, was taken into custody and charged with the murder (IPC 392). The key was recovered from the next room and upon opening the door, the woman was found lying half-naked in a pool of blood,” the police said. They also recorded the statement of the four tenants, all migrant labourers staying in the outhouse. “He said he was in an inebriated condition and attacked the woman with a stone,” they said.
