The half decomposed body of Surja Begum, 60, was found at Diabetic Association Medical College Hospital on Friday. She is the wife of one Maonser Sheikh of Faridpur Sadar’s Barkhada village. Locals got the smell coming from the body and called the police,” said Kotwali police SI Bipul Dey. The body was found at the bottom of the shaft after the elevator was lifted, he said.
