The deceased has been identified as Salma Begum of Putiyakhali village of the upazilaA woman died of a reported wrong treatment by a physician in Jhalakathi’s Rajapur upazila on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Salma Begum of Putiyakhali village of the upazila, confirmed Rajapur police station OC Zahid Hossain. Police citing relatives of the deceased said that Salma was breastfeeding her 11-month-old infant in the morning when she felt a pain. She visited a doctor, Mohsin Uddin, at a pharmacy Saima Medical, in Khayerhat Bazar. The doctor administered an injection (Triject), and she fell ill.Salma’s relatives rushed her to the Rajapur Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor pronounced her dead.
