A woman was stabbed to death one week before her wedding while she was alone at her parents' house in Kafr al-Gazzar, Qaliubiya. She was stabbed 19 times in different parts of her body, according to the forensic report. Her family reported her death after they returned home; she was transferred to Banha General Hospital. Criminal investigators found traces of blood in the woman's bedroom but no signs of violence or attempted robbery in the apartment. The victim's father accused his daughter's fiancé of murdering her during an interrogation.
