Map of Jhenaidah district Dhaka TribuneLocals say the woman is mentally challengedA woman has committed suicide after killing her six-year-old son in Bakoshpota village of Jhenaidah's Moheshpur upazila. The deceased were identified as Rabbi Hasan Rifat, 6, and Rifa Khatun, 25, wife of Mamun Miya, confirmed Moheshpur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Morshed Hossain Khan. Quoting locals, the OC said, Rabbi was sleeping beside his father Mamun at the balcony of their house early Saturday. Mamun went to feed his cows around 3am, and found his son missing shortly after when he returned to bed. Later Mamun saw his wife Rifa's body hanging from the ceiling inside her room through a window.
