PHOTO | FILEResidents of Gikingi village in Nyandarua West sub-county are still in shock following the brutal murder of a four year-old girl by her mother. The minor was during the weekend found hanging from a rope in her mother’s bedroom. Reuben Mwangi, a village elder, told the Nation, the 23 year-old woman has a history of abusing the child. She raised alarm attracting members of the public who found the body hanging from a rope in the bedroom. The suspect had by then escaped but was later arrested by the policeand taken to Ol Joro Orok police station.
