A woman and 4-year-old girl and are dead after two-car collision in Markham, Monday morning. at 9:45 a.m., responding to reports of a two-vehicle collision. Andy Pattenden of York Regional Police said the female driver, 42, of a Toyota Corolla and a child passenger were both found without vital signs at the scene. The two were rushed to hospital, where the woman later died. The child was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition but has succumbed to her injuries.
