New Delhi, June 10 (PTI): The Indian woman abducted from the Taimani area of Kabul on Thursday night has been identified as Judith D’Souza, 40, from Calcutta. Afghan authorities are trying to secure her release, official sources said Friday. We are doing everything to rescue her.”The Indian embassy is in touch with Afghan authorities to ensure her safe release, the sources said. The government is in contact with the woman's family in Calcutta, they said. Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted Friday that she has been in touch with D’Souza’s sister and the ministry will spare no efforts to rescue her.
