Police in Portland, Oregon, say a 33-year-old woman returning home with her two young children shot and killed an intruder in one of her children's bedrooms. Police say the woman cooperated with investigators after the shooting early Sunday and wasn't arrested. Police have identified the 59-year-old man who was fatally shot as David Daniel McCrary of Gresham, Oregon. The woman and her 5 and 10-year-old children weren't hurt. The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined that McCrary died of a single gunshot wound.
