A woman in her 60s has died after a single-car crash in Co Clare on Friday left her with serious injuries. The incident happened on the R458 near Newmarket on Fergus on March 27. The woman, who was the driver of the car, was taken to University Hospital Limerick (UHL) for treatment. The passenger of the car, a woman aged in her 70s, was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
