A woman who allegedly helped courier thousands of dollars worth of cannabis for her boyfriend cried hysterically after she was refused bail. Kathleen Day, 20, appeared in Wollongong Local Court on Friday accused of shifting cannabis between Illawarra and Goulburn in New South Wales for her boyfriend Connor O'Dwyer. She cried and fell to the floor of her holding cell after being told she had been refused bail and would have to remain behind bars. Police will allege O'Dwyer delivered between 1.3kg and 1.8kg of cannabis worth $72,000, the Illawarra Mercury reported. Her family offered $10,000 surety for her bail however it was formally refused due to the seriousness of the allegations.
