With tight fiscal maths, govt spending can't drive GDP growth alone: Tanvee Gupta Jain, UBS


In fact, if you look at quarter four GDP at market price forecast, we are actually expecting 7.4 per cent. In this quarter, especially most of the growth will still be driven by consumption. And you keep on getting what is exactly happening on ground, so we are not expecting any downward revision to the 6.6 per cent real GDP growth for FY18. For FY19, we are currently at 7.4 per cent GDP growth.There are a couple of things which we need to watch out for. At the same time, the corporate deleveraging process is on.But we are seeing a lot of activity, especially on the public capex side.
