WASHINGTON: One month from Saturday, Hillary Clinton is favoured to make history as the first female US president. But with a resilient Donald Trump standing in her way, the Election Day outcome remains anything but certain. Colorado, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin are tilting Clinton’s way, polls show. “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” Trump exulted in January. Many Republican voters will be converting their hatred for Hillary into motivation to head to the polls.
