THE Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia welcomes the reassuring wind of change that is sweeping across the nation. We have witnessed these past 10 years how declining ethical standards and lack of integrity have burdened consumers and business organisations. BEIM has worked with the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry and had prepared and produced the nation’s Code of Business Ethics launched by the ministry in 2007. We have witnessed these past 10 years how declining ethical standards and lack of integrity have burdened consumers and business organisations. BEIM believes that businesses are ready, willing and need support from the government and institutions vested with the responsibility of raising the country’s business ethics.
