With New Fundraising, 9-Month-Old Bike-Sharing Startup Is Said To Be Worth $200 Million

Only nine months after its launch, LimeBike has closed a new round of funding in the "tens of millions", according to multiple sources. One source familiar with the deal said the funding round values the company around $200 million. The startup had previously announced a Series A round of $12 million led by Andreessen Horowitz in March. The latest infusion of investor cash is capital the bike-sharing startup is likely to need. In Seattle, the company is squaring off against Spin, which raised $8 million from Grishin Robotics in May.
