RsIf you are a junior level employee at Wipro , there is a high chance that you may get a promotion this year. To check attrition in the company and to make the firm 'future-ready', the IT giant has decided to double the number of promotions in the coming quarters .In its quarterly result announcement last week, the company had said it plans to offer 5,000 promotions in the December quarter, in an attempt to retain digital talent. The promotions will be given for employees with experience of five to eight years.According to a report, employees at L1 level would be promoted to L2 level and L2 staff would be promoted to L3. Indian IT companies has increased their hiring by 50 per cent in the second quarter of this fiscal.The net employee hiring by the top three IT companies -- Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and Wipro -- went up 59 per cent in the September quarter compared to the June quarter. TCS, Infosys and Wipro, collectively, hired 28,157 employees in the quarter.
