Winter Games medalists on list for Snow Sports awardsIain McGregor Alice Robinson of Queenstown has been nominated for two awards ahead of the Snow Sports NZ annual awards. Nominees for the annual Snow Sports NZ awards have been released with several Winter Games success stories likely to feature on stage. Iain McGregor/Fairfaxnz Carlos Garcia Knight was placed third in the Men's Slopestyle final at Cardrona which has gained him an award nomination at the snow sports NZ awards. Other Winter Games medal winners to be nominated were Miguel Porteous, Carlos Knight, Carl Murphy, Zoi Sadowski Synnott and Sam Lee. The awards encompass a 12-month timeframe which includes the 2016/2017 Northern Hemisphere season and the 2017 Southern Hemisphere season.
