NEW DELHI: In their debut season, Gujarat Lions made a telling impact winning nine league matches in the 2016 Indian Premier League and made it to the playoffs with ease. Coming in for the first year we were the only team to win nine league matches and that was huge for us. So this was a conscious decision for us and we are happy and just looking forward to the season. I am a firm believer in promoting lot of Indian talent, so our strategy will be the same as last year. That is the main and only objective for Gujarat Lions.
