Eagle Wings hit Co-operative Bank of Kenya 58-47 in a women’s Premier League clash at Nyayo Stadium over the weekend. Zetech beat Kisumu Lady Bucks 43-32 and Gladiators walloped Eldonets 48-19. Co-op Bank had 17 from their top scorer Belinda Okoth. The other top match of the day saw Sprite Storms recover from a 22-18 half-time deficit to thump Kenyatta University ‘Oryx’ 67-41. The Africa bronze medallists produced their best form since the league started as they took a 28-23 half-time lead and never let go the edge.
