Windy weather whips up wildfires in southeastern B.C.


The province is experiencing an unusually high level of fire activity for September, according to B.C. Nearly 400 properties near Moyie Lake, southwest of Cranbrook, remained on evacuation order Monday because of the Lamb Creek wildfire. The Linklater Creek wildfire is burning on both sides of the U.S. border.
