Hold on to your hats – wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are expected to develop across southern Ontario Wednesday afternoon, Environment Canada says. A special weather statement said strong southwesterly winds of 50 km/h are expected, but winds are expected to diminish early in the evening. The wind and gusts may be strong enough to cause minor damage to trees and buildings. Driving could also be difficult at times due to the strong winds, Environment Canada warned. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement or a wind warning for all of southern Ontario.
