A history group is running its open day this coming Saturday with free entry and refreshments. The Windsor Local History Group (WLHG) open day is running on November 4 from 11am to 4pm at Windsor Baptist Church on Victoria Street. Visitors will have a chance to engage with the remarkable heritage of Windsor and surrounding communities. Maps, drawings, photographs, letters, slides and videos reveal the evolution of local towns and villages. Back issues of the ‘Windlesora’ history magazine, together with local reference books and a range of related WLHG publications, will also be on sale.
