Wind warning issued for CorkA status yellow wind warning has been issued for Cork for today and tonight. Met Éireann said westerly winds with mean winds of 55km/h to 65 km/h and gusts of 100km/h are possible, especially in coastal areas. High seas will bring a risk of coastal flooding. The warning is in effect from 4pm today until 1am tonight. The warning covers counties Cork, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry.
