Wind warning issued by Environment Canada

As April showers bring May flowers, the showers part is about to begin. A special weather statement from Environment Canada predicts an early spring storm is on its way into central and Southern Ontario Tuesday, bringing with it “significant rainfall.” A wind warning has also been issued, advising of winds up to 90km/hr over the course of Wednesday. The storm is caused by a Colorado low pressure system which is expected to intensify, the weather agency said. “This weather system will bring a rainfall of 15 to 30 millimetres, most of which will fall tonight. Following the rain, a “sharp arctic cold front associated with the Colorado Low will blast across the region” Wednesday morning, the forecaster said.
