An MK Dons fans group said after the game they planned on "making a formal complaint" about Pell's actions, while the club's supporters board vowed to look into "the shocking treatment of supporters". And Pell has now been formally charged by the FA over the incident, with a spokesperson saying: "AFC Wimbledon's Harry Pell has been charged with misconduct following their EFL League Two game against Milton Keynes Dons. MK Dons midfielder Alex Gilbey, meanwhile, told BBC Three Counties Radio : "I think after what happened last time (MK Dons beat Wimbledon 3-1 back in January), they knew they had to turn it into an ugly game of football.
